Do you have an experience on Indirect Tax (VAT)?
Our client is one of the leading audit and consulting firms in the UAE and they are looking to hire a VAT Consultant to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible with:
Being an expert in the UAE VAT legislation and keep track of any developments in this regardAdvise companies on their VAT position in the UAE, by interpreting the VAT articles in the legislation and give your expert opinionYou should be able to deal with VAT compliance matters and provide necessary guidance to our clients, especially in relation VAT return filingProvide presentations on VAT topics to clients, team members and other colleaguesGuide and mentor junior members of our teamCommunicate and support clients on VAT matters on a high levelConducting VAT reviewsAdvising on VAT savings for clients and identifying exposure in respect of VAT
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
Minimum of 3-4 years'' experience in the field of Indirect Tax / VAT, in a country with a VAT systemUniversity Master''s Degree, preferably in the areas of Finance, Law or Taxation and with ACA, ACCA, CPA qualificationsExperience in working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, Sun System) and how to manage data efficientlyExcellent English communication skills, in speaking as well as writingExpert in communicating with clients and colleagues, and commercially drivenExcellent research and writing skills to understand problems and provide solutions
