Description
Our client is a Dubai based international law firm who are seeking a Bilingual Paralegal whose role will be to support a Bilingual Senior Associate and their team in the Insurance Litigation department.
Description:
• Reviewing and summarizing contracts
• Audio and/or copy typing of legal documents to a high standard of accuracy both in English and Arabic
• Undertaking comparison of documents using document production system such as DocXTools, Workshare within deadlines
• Opening and closing files in accordance with standard office procedures manually as well as on the firm''s systems
• Ensuring all filing is accurate and kept up-to-date on a daily basis
• Preparing litigation bundles
• Management of translations of Arabic and English documents by liaising with external translators
• Speaking to Government entities whenever requested
• Ensuring the timely (and where appropriate “confidential”) distribution of incoming and internal messages and memorandum/material
• Follow compliance procedures, ensure Case Management file is kept updated including preparation of client care letters
• Maintain client contact details for accuracy and ease of use on Interaction system
• Dealing with internal and external clients with professionalism and consideration

Skills
Criteria:
• Must have a law degree with some paralegal experience
• Good experience of contract work
• Time management skills: able to work to tight deadlines, ensuring a high standard of accuracy, prioritizing work between fee earners
• Customer service skills: dealing with queries from internal and external clients in a professional, polite and considerate manner
• Good organization skills
• Good communication skills: able to communicate with internal and external clients in a confident and assertive manner. Also, able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• High standard of written and spoken English and Arabic is required
• High levels of discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy
• Excellent typing skills, speed and accuracy essential
• Good computer literacy skills on MS Office, MS Outlook and InterAction;
• Flexible with regard to working hours
• Mature approach with the ability to work unsupervised
• A strong work ethic
• Must currently reside in the UAE
