Job Overview:


This career opportunity requires dynamic and innovative professional who is enthusiastic to take on challenging roles in a fast-paced and diverse work environment. Data Entry / Administrative Assistant will complete a variety of administrative, clerical, data collection and report writing tasks to carry out Government relations functions and visa services in support of the Company and its employees.




Specific Responsibilities:
• Gathers statistics and general data; reviews, analyzes, and combines the information into established reports for use within and outside the group. Such reports may be in spreadsheet or graphical format, or narrative style word processing. May be responsible for verifying data gathered such as matching supplier invoices against file copies.
• May be responsible for obtaining data necessary for completion of the group’s overhead budget and associated recurring reports.
• Files materials and answers telephones. May receive, sort, and distribute mail.
• Coordinates visa requirements with staffing section and ensures visas are requisitioned in a timely manner.
• Expedites processing of travel documentation, including exit/re-entry visas.
• Advises management on matters pertaining to Government relations, such as Labor Law and Immigration Procedures.
• Interfaces with Embassies and coordinates areas of difficulty regarding visa procurement for employees and dependents.
• As directed, may represent Company in matters concerning government institutions, embassies, local labor court.
• Counsels employees on visa procedures and problem areas.
• May be responsible for the safekeeping of passports, renewal of work permits, health cards, etc.
• Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.





Requirements:



• Must be a UAE/Emirati National.

• Secondary School Certificate.

• Diploma or Degree in Office Management / Administration will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates, or early career professionals with 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Preferably with related work experience in an engineering, or construction firm.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Adept in using MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, spreadsheets, database and other related computer applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Can communicate amiably & effectively with people at all levels.
