Supervise day-to-day operations assigned for rope access team to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
Identify & liaise all jobs Onboard with project manager, ship superintendent and trade representative.
Be conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation.
To ensure that the jobs are performed safely.
Manpower estimation to be done based on the job scope and develop completion program.
To ensure workers performance are up to the set standards.
Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure all information’s are communicated to the supervisor / Manager i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns
Assessment of alternatives to lead climbing and where lead climbing is a valid safe option, be capable of writing a method statement for lead climbing in a particular situation
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Rescue operation to be performed together with yard rescue team- should there be a requirement.
To follow the necessary work instructions, DPM, Risk Assessment, JHA and Safety standards before commencement of the job.

Skills
IRATA Level III and trainer
Have knowledge of the IRATA certification scheme.
Have knowledge of the IRATA General requirements.
Be familiar with the contents of the IRATA Guidelines.
