Reporting to the CFO/Finance Director, you will be responsible to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Skills Required:
 Prepare monthly accounts (P&L and balance sheet) on an agreed basis and in time for review at Board / Senior Management meetings.
 Lead in the preparation, integrity and timetable for all financial reporting requirements for key stakeholders (PnL, Balance Sheet and cashflow statements).
 Develop the forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) to enable the Board to track objectives from short to long term.
 Ensure that fit for purpose controls are in place for the management of all bank accounts and other cash mechanisms.
 Liaise with external auditors on the preparation of statutory financial information.
 Provide timely updates of cash balances and ensure weekly forecasting processes are in place to brief relevant senior management.
 Monitor, manage and make financial proposals relating to charges and cost control.
 Ensure robust controls and reconciliations are in place between ledgers as well as cash/bank accounts.
 Act as the lead point of liaison between the finance department and operational managers to help resolve queries and to propose workable solutions to business issues.
 Be the key point of liaison with representatives of the bank.
 Carrying out any other ad hoc duties and project work allocated by the Finance Director.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Management accountant with 4-5 years of experience
- Prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry or trading industry is beneficial but not crucial.
- Excel skills (intermediate to advance)-Test will be conducted.
