Oversee the day-to-day activities in the accounting department
• Generate reports with respect to daily expenses,
• Ensure on time payment of salaries to all employees at all locations
• Ensure on time payment of dues to vendors
• Track pending payments and follow up on the same as per the credit period allowed by the organization
• Monthly reconciliation with bank statements
• Preparation of projected cash flows and forecasting monetary requirements
• Liaise with HR to ensure leave encashment and deductions are handled
• Implement and enforce correct accounting standards, policies and principles and monitor them
• Responsible for forecasting monetary requirements
• Ensure that all accounting information is kept confidential
