Description
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Etihad on the digital journey, demonstrating the art of the possible through your digital expertise, technical ''know how'' and ability to execute digital strategies. The establishment and execution of a digital workplace strategy that ensures employees have the tools and work environment to be more engaged, productive and effective.
Proactively lead the Digital Technology by setting the team’s vision, mission and strategy, drive the development of new IT in Etihad, support all stakeholders in the business and provide technical advice across disciplines.
Provide leadership to multiple projects and initiatives, which run simultaneously and oversee project teams to ensure they address specific requirements and deliverables.
Propose conceptual technology architectures with supporting components.
Design customer journeys and associated digital tools footprint.
Conduct research on emerging technologies and disseminate knowledge to Digital team.
Whilst working in the Technology team you will further build on your understanding of the key themes in the market and in the region.
Act as a bridge between IT and the business to articulate technology projects and concepts through effectively communicating the progress and goals of the team as well as ensuring the delivery and time-to-market of digital solutions.
Build new solutions through usable prototypes and PoCs for business stakeholders to ensure the increase of efficiency and automation within Etihad complete ecosystem.
Coordinate, facilitate and develop presentations.
Budget planning and management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or related discipline strongly preferred. An advanced degree is desired.
5+ years of experience in Technology Development leading teams and digital online solutions, gained preferably in a company that IT is core to the company product offering.
Digital Transformation experience.
10-12 years of leading successful technology /software development teams.
Experience in building teams and executing successful transformations.
Aviation and travel background is strongly desired.
