Purpose of the Job:

To lead day to day activity of the production teams in the Service and Repair Centre ensuring continual focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People development.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure teams adherence to Orange Safety Rules
Active Involvement in Safety culture development across the team
Support with planning and delivery of onsite major interventions
Develop the teams capabilities in line with the evolution of future Aggreko products
Set up the SRC Operational readiness and future proofed work areas
Collaborate with global service and repair teams sharing capability improvements and best practice
Ensure robust documentation is available for all key processes then approved and reviewed as required
Drive your team to practice high standard daily 5S routines maintaining GSCS standards
Ensure team operates as per the Quality Management System
Drive investigation and closure of teams quality issues (NCRs)
Drive the teams focus to deliver the highest quality of product for all refurbs and repairs
Plan and ensure all your teams necessary resources are available
Grow technical and behavioural competencies amongst your team
Manage team to adhere to the production schedule whilst maximising efficiency
Drive cost reduction within department through re-cycling of parts and process improvements
Actively promote Continuous improvement/Kaizen initiatives
Operate as cover for the Service and Repair Manager when asked

Person Specifications:

Service and Repair background within a high profile organisation.
Have managed teams
Coaching and development of teams
Experience in Technology Industry
Educated to diploma level minimum
Desired Skills:

Exposure to “World class” operating
Experience in Multi-cultural environments
Thorough knowledge and skills with Excel, Word, MS Powerpoint and SharePoint
Advanced Leadership and Coaching skills
Highly developed communication skills
Presentation, negotiation, facilitation and written communication skills.
