The Company

The Role
Develop and execute strategic communications plans to support The company’s Business strategy in MENA in order to promote the corporate brand, all The companies and Business Units.

Communications plans and strategy
-Development and implementation of the English and Arabic The company’s corporate Brand communications strategy in order to meet corporate objectives
-Development and implementation of focus communications strategies in order to meet corporate objectives

Media relations
-Identify proactive English and Arabic media opportunities for The Companies Corporate programmes; and obtain English and Arabic media coverage locally and internationally
-Develop and implement comms strategy for key Senior Leaders in The company
-Develop and nurture working relationships with media, through regular interaction and face to face meetings.
-Oversee all media activities, manage the PR agencies to proactively position The company in the public domain;
-Manage, develop and provide guidance to comms team to ensure objectives are being met
-Work with Marcomm coordinators to come up with strategies to showcase events within the media.
-Providing guidance and support to Marcomm coordinators on communications related issues
- Lead Local PR strategy.

Photography and Video asset management
-Ensure video and image resources for the company and corporate are of high quality and in line with company brand and objectives
- Ensure correct usage of corporate resources (photographer, videographer, drone)
- Ensure quality assets are available on the asset management systems
- Ensure The companies events covered properly through photographs and video

Thought Leadership/Reactive
- Draft white papers, press releases, speeches and talking points as required for corporate and school releases.
- Prepare reactive statements for issues that need to be managed (as an when they arise)

Events management
-management of corporate events (includes logistical organization and implementation)
-management and support of VIP events (includes logistical organization and implementation)
-Support the development of programmes that are in line with the companies vision
-The companies Representative on the planning / organizing committee.

Stakeholder management
-Support in development and management of an internal employee communication plan and ensure its effective implementation across all business units and geographic areas so that existing and new staff are properly inducted and galvanized around The companies brand and the business strategy.
- Manage and develop communication tools to communicate with our customers in an effective manner

The Person
You will have at least 15 years Multinational National Corporate communications experience in the GCC. Internal communications is essential and it would be advantageous if you have some speech writing /political lobbying exposure. There is a team of 10 and hence you will need to have proven people management experience.
