The Kleindienst group is developing a luxury real estate project “The Heart of Europe” in Dubai, being built on six stunning islands off the coast of Dubai. The six stunning islands will be home; in the year 2020; to fourteen luxury hotels. In keeping with the launch dates, we have started putting together the core team for the hospitality division.

Main responsibilities:
• Review and correct daily revenue journals
• Controls all balance sheet accounts
• Specifically reviews the accounts payable balance
• Control accommodation advance deposits
• Monitor house banks and investments
• Analyze and investigate cashiers’ over’s and shorts
• Code and input manual cheques
• Investigate and input bank statement data
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Review accounts payable monthly inventory reconciliations
• Review accounts payable purchase journal
• Review travel agency commission payments
• Review and prepare input in the general ledge from various sources
• Review food and beverage control reconciliations and journal
• Prepare balance sheet record and identify and reconcile all items therein
• Audit payroll
• Prepares monthly Financial Statements for distribution to Department Heads and Executives, as directed by Finance Manager
• Responsible for month-end back-office computer closing
• Approves various city ledger transactions before posting
• Prepares asset purchase/disposal report for owners
• Approves payment requests, employee advances and petty cash prior to payment
• Supervises Accounts department in the absence of the Assistant Finance Manager
• Reports directly to and communicates with the Assistant Manager of Finance and Finance Manager on all matters pertaining to accounting and financial controls• Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs

Skills
• Proven experience of a leading accounting team of a reputed hotel.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.• Good writing skills
