Description
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a help desk specialist to lead, maintain and grow the service desk at an established financial services client of ours based in Dubai.
Working within a growing team for the Dubai office, the service desk leader will lead a team tasked with responding to helpdesk tickets, incident management and leading new projects/initiatives.
Requirements
This will involve prior experience playing a lead role within the IT industry with extensive experience in:
- Managing overall service desk activities, providing a positive customer experience and act as an escalation point for technical issues
- Responsibility of incident management on the service desk as well as the monitoring of events
- Updating and installation of applications for end-users while investigation on technical glitches
- End-to-end project management experience preferably with ITIL certification
Candidates are expected to have relevant service desk experience, as well as experience leading teams and planning/following through with new initiatives.
