The Financial Controller, or Comptroller, undertakes all aspects of financial management, including management accounting, cost accounting, consolidation, regulatory and financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, tax filings, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Advanced degree in Accounting
Experience in dealing with Audits
CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, specifically cost accounting and familiarity with IFRS
Experience with creating financial statements and management accounting
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
