Designed for the independent minded traveler seeking an escape from the predictableKey Responsibilities: •Registers guests and assigns rooms, accommodates special requests whenever possible. •Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, checks cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures. •Understands room status and room status tracking.

Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties. •Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel. •Possesses a working knowledge of reservation department, takes same day reservation and future reservation when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures.
Uses proper telephone etiquette •Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to Supervisor or designated Manager. •Post charges to guests’ accounts. •Transfer guests’ balances to other accounts as required. •Handle cash, travelers, cheque, credit cards and direct billing requested properly.
Responsible of keeping and releasing guests passports. •Implements & control the policies and regulation related to staff Health & Safety, •Grooming, Service & Hygiene. •Performs any other duties as assigned to her/him by management. •Assist other departments, as necessary andidate Profile•Previous experience in a customer-focused industry.
High School diploma or equivalent required•Positive attitude and good English communication skills both written and verbal. Other language skills are a plus.•Advanced computer skills. OPERA knowledge is an advantage. •This position requires full mobility, continuous standing and the ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
