Description
The Role
On behalf of our client a multinational FMCG company who are based in the UAE we are looking to recruit a Logistics/Accounts Assistant. Reporting to the GM you will be responsible for transferring product volumes and shipping information into an Excel database, co-ordinate with international inter-company suppliers, providing customers with all shipment details, generate accurate reports of shipping movements, posting and processing daily journal entries to ensure all financial business transactions are recorded, manage physical count of inventory, prepare payments, disbursements and reconciliations and keep records of weekly shipments.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be a resident of the UAE, have a minimum of 3 years experience with sea freight export and import documentation, a background in freight forwarding or ocean freight, UAE import knowledge coupled with ERP experience.
