POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Business Analyst (ITBA) position reports to the IT Director and takes direction from IT managers and serves as business process analyst/custodian/librarian as well as the lead AX 2012: operational manager, trainer and application support person on the global IT team that supports 300+ internal users across 70+ locations across 11+ countries.
The ITBA will be a power user of all modules of the AX2012 system and will provide regular training to existing and new employees to ensure proper and optimal usage of the system across the company. The ITBA also will use deep operational understanding of AX to implement all functional adjustments needed to support business operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide first level of support for all business applications, primarily AX2012 while promoting a culture of self-sufficiency and peer help. If the ITBA will validate any issue that requires technical intervention and escalate those tickets to the appropriate member of the IT team.
• Document, map and maintain a library of all business processes across the company noting dependencies, approval points and any regional differences.
• Field all requests for new processes or process changes. Validate changes against impact, feasibility and adherence to best practices. Document all change requests and obtain necessary approvals before submitting to technical team for execution. Work closely with technical team to implement changes. Validate and test implemented process changes and manage user acceptance testing and approval process.
• Train new and existing employees on all aspects of business systems, primarily Dynamics AX 2012 and proper flow of business processes. End users include sales, administration, POS retail sales, warehouse, accounting, finance, procurement and management. ITBA should become a power user of all modules of AX 2012 and have strong understanding of end user responsibilities and realities to provide relevant and end user centric training. Trainings should cover improving end user capabilities on existing system as well as all system changes and additions to ensure full usage and benefit of the system across the company.
• Facilitate and champion reporting capabilities in the system, including those generated by AX 2012 management reporter, SSRS and Power BI. Ensure management and relevant business staff are fully trained and aware of the data analysis available in the system and collaborate to improve.

Skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a multi-channel sales organization with ERP power user experience, preferably in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP family, with at least one of those years being on AX 2012;
• Must have solid business process competencies and documentation experience (using business process mapping solutions such as Nintex or similar) from multiple business environments;
• Excellent English verbal communications skills for telephone and face-to-face interactions and training with executives and staff at all levels, as well as strong written communication skills for e-mail, process documentation, presentations, “how to” and technical documentation are required;
• Solid (multiple) ERP implementation experience, with at least one implementation on Dynamics AX 2012;
• Strong personal time and schedule management skills with ability to effectively monitor and manage multiple tasks throughout the workday are required;
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with business and technical “know how”, product knowledge and creativity required;
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or relevant field;
• Language fluency in Arabic a plus but not mandatory;
Travel to offices, showrooms and warehouses throughout the Middle East will be required on occasion.
