Description
The Cloud Sales Director will be responsible for building and leading a team to drive the sales motion for WannaGo Cloud Services. A self-starting business builder and hunter, the successful candidate will possess strong experience in sales structuring, strategic sales management and strategic alliance development,

Key Job Responsibilities:
Establish, quickly build up and manage the new Cloud Management Services sales team
Collaborate with the team to roll up a quarterly forecast with monthly updates to provide transparency to the sales pipeline status as well as upside or downside risks to achieving target bookings
Engage with Business Development Managers on developing and closing key customer opportunities by planning and implementing creative solutions to customer requirements
Work with the Sales Manager, Cloud Management Services, to ensure sales team is providing excellent customer support and improving its contributions to bookings and pipeline goals
Collaborate and build positive relationships with Core Field and partners to ensure most effective sales coverage and efficient engagement with customers

Requirements:
Proven leadership record in developing and leading new sales organizations for newly introduced products and services and helping build that business, especially in a global context
8+ years of sales experience within the enterprise IT and private/public cloud industries
5+ years of high-level management experience with a minimum 7 or more direct reports (15-20+ is highly preferred); experience managing sales manager direct reports also preferred
Multi-channel sales experience working with direct sales team in a business development function as well as with inside sales or customer success function
Demonstrated ability to create and adapt sales plays (learn fast/iterate quickly) and to provide feedback to Product Marketing and Product Management teams with confidence
Ability to establish and cultivate strong internal and customer focused relationships and work seamlessly within a matrix environment across sales and product business units
Outstanding ability to forecast, set goals and objectives, monitor sales activity and negotiate contracts
A holistic approach to the sales process that demonstrates a customer success mindset
Individual of highest integrity who maintains and expects high standards for self and team
Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time
BA/BS/ MS /MBA degree
