LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics is a British company, founded in 1995 and an inventor, retailer and manufacturer of ethical skin care, hair care, bath and body products. Now with a global reach, with over 900 shops in 52 countries, it’s known for changing the face, body and soul of the cosmetic industry.
Lush UAE, Lush Saudi, Lush Oman and Lush Bahrain are managed by the UK, being centrally run from a support office in Dubai. We have 19 shops across these three countries, with an expected growth to having around 30 shops in 5 year’s time. We also support 10 partners/franchisee countries/shops (Saudi, Lebanon, Kuwait & Qatar) from this central support office.
Overview of role Your main role will be to support the daily accounting operations of the business and making sure that cash and expense payments are within guidelines and in line with budgets. You will be a part of the finance team and a key player in producing the month end accounts.
Skills
What we’ll ask you to do:
• Maintaining and reconciling intercompany loans and sundry loans
• Processing payroll for 4 countries within the MENA region
• Calculating GOSI and PASI and other regional social taxes in a timely manner
• Maintaining and reconciling accruals, such as End of Service, flight allowance and general accruals 4 countries within the MENA region
• Maintaining and reconciling prepayments 4 countries within the MENA region
• Keeping track of and updating the leases held by the company and ensuring payments are made when they become due
• Detailed analysis of major P&L accounts
• Support the month end process enabling the finance team to meet challenging deadlines• Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis required within the finance team
