This stunning property offers 299 well-appointed rooms and suites as well as 109 serviced apartments featuring all modern amenities and the latest technology. As well as an ideal setting near the world-renowned Mall of the Emirates, our destination hotel is a short distance from all business and leisure areas, World Trade Center, Downtown Dubai, The Dubai mall and just minutes from Jumeirah Beach and children entertainment Wild Wadi Waterpark.


Key Job Responsibilities


Attends all major functions and events and acts as the point of contact with the organizers.
Handles the timely set up of all venues according to the service settings and as outlined in the function sheets.
Coordinates with the Director of F&B and Banquet Manager outsourced logistical support such as contracted outside work force, contracted food and beverage supplies, music equipment, etc.
Ensures that all mis-en-place is prepared according to the stipulated service requirements.
Coordinates with the Executive Chef all menu proposals presentations and other kitchen related requirements.
Actively involved in achieving the department’s annual budget forecasts.
Conducts spot checks on the business activities of immediate competitors.
Ensures that all entertainers’ licenses are available on hand in advance and copies are distributed to concerned parties.

Qualifications
Demonstrated sales abilities working in other departments of the Hotel.
Demonstrated potential to acquire such management skills as: Development of marketing plan and implementation of administrative action plan.
Planning short and long -range goals, decision-making process, leadership and motivation.
Organisation ability, sales contracts, research and planning. Innovation skills (creativity and special promotions).
Proven ability to identify trends and need areas in the international market.
