Description
Requirements:
•Degree educated or its equivalent.
•At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
•Good visual design skills and the ability to storyboard.
•Experience in administering/ managing learning management systems.
•Experience in developing training resources e.g. instructional materials/ manuals, instructional videos.
•Experience in delivering workshops and training opportunities to key stakeholders to develop skills in learning technologies to support teaching, learning and assessment.
•Knowledge of developments in multimedia and authoring tools i.e. Articulate and other similar tools
•Experience in reporting techniques to produce analytical data using an LMS
•Ability to recognise and update skills to meet new advancements in learning technologies
•Ability to identify new opportunities to enhance teaching, learning and assessment using learning technologies
•Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain effective internal and external client relationships.
•Excellent organisation skills with an ability to use initiative and work under sustained pressure.
•High degree of IT literacy particularly Microsoft Office packages including other software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
•Proficient in both written and spoken English
•Ability to adapt and be flexible.
•Previous work experience in a multinational company (within the UAE) with a multicultural workforce is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities of the role:
•Create high quality training support materials (training manuals/ handouts; posters; brochures; learning videos) to assist the Learning & Development team in the effective use of online learning platforms
•Develop and manage the Group’s online learning platforms, ensuring that they are configured to meet the current strategic aims
•Support the Learning & Development team to ensure that their teaching materials are organised and easily accessible on a range of different devices
•Develop and deliver training/ workshops to staff on using the Groups online learning platforms to ensure a consistent learner experience
•Proactively seek out new learning technologies/ resources and advice on their suitability
