Description
Key Accountabilities

Drive implementation of the Global IT strategy to enhance business partnership supporting the local implementation of 2020 SBP. Ensure seamless project delivery together with GIT and Business Partners
Support the SAP Roll-out by ensuring flawless IT efforts, anticipating country implementation, facilitating go-live and sustain phases
Ensure overall alignment of Strategic Market IT Roadmap within Management team and Global IT and effective demand management and governance (IT Steering board). Be compliant with IT policies and standards
Ensure support for market users in all Market relevant locations; manage and report about the market IT budget against given targets. Identify and drive relevant initiatives to cost efficiency.
Act as a knowledgeable, reliable and trusted IT contact for business partners and for GIT and identify, design and drive Innovation from Market and/or integrate and apply new technologies from GIT. Drive and support IT related decision making process with key stakeholders within business and GIT.
Manage IT Directors in the sub-markets and ensures both consistency and local adaptation in the practices.
Manage external relationships with key customers and suppliers and look for efficiency gains
Manage external services and drive sourcing discussions for IT services
Define organizational structure, set objectives, and manage workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices and achieving continuous process improvement.
Provide strong leadership towards Market IT team and ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team


Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

Must have cross-functional IT knowledge and strong business acumen combined with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Must interact effectively with middle & senior management is able to build good relationships and has strong service management skills
Is able to work both with Global and Local teams and build bridges between these entities
Is experienced in leading, managing, coaching and developing teams
Is able to translate business needs into IT solutions
Is solution oriented whilst having a good understanding of long terms strategy
Has strong project and program prioritization and management skills
Has good presentation and facilitation skills


Qualifications

University degree in business or computer science
Minimum 7 years of worked within international competitive environments, including several years in management positions
Minimum 5 years’ experience in personnel management
International experience and track record
Preferably knowledge of adidas and Global IT organization and processes
Language skills: fluent in English spoken and written
