Job Responsibilities :
• Dispense medicines based on doctors prescription for both in patients and out patients
• Provide information to patients about medications and their usage
• Answer questions about prescription drugs
• Provide information about over the counter drugs and make recommendation after talking to patient
• Dispense medicines for insurance patients following appropriate insurance protocols
• Check for the accuracy of prescription filled and check with prescribing doctor in case of any doubts
• Dispense medicines to crash carts of other departments depending upon their requirement
• Maintain the proper issue and giving to indent medicines to other departments
• Register entry and stock check of controlled drugs daily ( only by one designated pharmacist )
