Job Summary:

 Data center operations includes but not limited to:
o Rack mounting rack & blade servers, storage & tape library.
o Power & Network Cabling.
o Labeling of blade servers, storage, tape library and related power & network cables.
o Servers, Storage & Tape Library hardware configuration.
o Installation & configuration of Operating Systems on Servers.
 Coordinate with Vendors to log call to identify issues and find a resolution.
 Coordinate for Vendor’s Engineer to arrange access permission in-case DC access for any change activity.
 Escort Vendor’s Engineer in DC for any change activity.
 Perform FRU/CRU for Servers, Storage & Tape Library, etc.
 Perform periodic health check for Servers, Storage & Tape libraries in all the data centers and preparing report in excel sheet, FLM support for Fiber and copper cables.
 Perform Data center Migration and Evacuation, remove and install items from one DC to other DC, submit the evacuated items to warehouse, coordinate with WH team to get the submitted items up on customer request
 Coordination with EM team for Data center Electro mechanical activities.
