Description
The role of LOC Finance Business Partner (FBP) is to provide performance management, financial analytics and decision support to the LOC executions teams. In doing so they must leverage one set of numbers and establish a strong link between financial numbers and operational actions.

The FBP must;
•Through the operating system maintain and contribute towards an effective performance management framework within the LOC execution teams.•Have a detailed understanding of the financial numbers as well as solid business knowledge and to contribute more data driven decisions within the LOC execution teams thereby ensuring the lowest possible cost of execution.

Key Responsibilities
Performance Management:
•Ensure the operating system for performance management is active in the EMR and Equipment Flow team
•Responsible for effective KPI deployment within assigned execution team/teams
•Ensure Visual Management systems are effectively used to highlight and improve performance levels
•The FBP will engage with their assigned function by participating in their daily stand ups and weekly meetings
•Partnering with the EMR and Equipment Flow team team/teams to ensure Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) are known and pursued
•Objectively deploy RCA tools, ensure the framework is in place and coach assigned execution team as needed
•Objectively challenge performance of the assigned team
•Produce relevant management reports, gap analysis and co-create improvement plans with the assigned teams
•Maintain strong business knowledge on the Equipment planning and EMR functions in order to provide insight to the functions
•Good understanding & interpretation of the KPIs to challenge the team on their performance
•Use of cost trends to influence operational decisions
•Understand EQU Flow & positioning
•Analyze and present the right data through impactful presentations
•Conduct performance reviews for the team with Cost relevant data
•Add Market intelligence insight in performance reviews•Regular and accurate forecasting to influence future business decisions along with recommendations

General Cost Analytics & Control:
•The FBP must have a strong understanding of the cost drivers with the LOC operations and take ownership of cost development in the assigned Clusters or Feedering (as applicable)
•While the Global Service Centre (GSC) will be responsible for signing off the monthly financial figures to the LOC Finance and CENFIN. The GSC will report the ‘what happened’ and the FBP will subsequently analyse the cost developments & cost drivers to explain ‘why’ it happened
•The FBP will participate in the NOPS sign-off calls with the GSC and engage with the Cluster Operations/Finance to stay updated with business developments that impact on cost developments and challenges cost escalations
•The FBP will convey business intelligence to the GSC cost controllers through participating in weekly ATR engagements
•Responsible for building relevant cost models to forecast and better predict cost developments in the assigned Cluster with the aim of mitigating unfavorable developments
•The FBP must challenge business cases or decisions based on assumptions and ensure that a benefit realisation check is in place for all major business cases•The FBP must ensure that standard cost is reflecting the expected operational cost within their areas of responsibility

Enables Cost Saving:
•The LOC FBP is responsible for coordinating all cost saving programmes for EMR and Equipment costs; and must drive benefit realisation
•Must develop/co-create or implement tools to ensure assigned operational teams constantly take the optimum decisions
•Ensure sub-optimisation is avoided through thorough correct identification or relevant costs, sunk costs and total cost of ownership
•The LOC FBP must assist the LOC Business CFO, working closely together with the regional finance team, driving the cost of recovery/reduction and ensure close alignment between the regional/country Cluster and the LOC
•Contribute to the MLB Finance community: and in particular to the EMR and Equipment FBP community
•Actively participate in the LOC finance community to learn & share best practices as needed to stay aligned with CEN FP&A standard reporting tools

Skills
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Business
•At least 3years experience within a business partnering environment
•Proven ability to influence without authority and engage confidently with leaders at all levels
