The Role
The Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for motion graphic videos, storyboarding, mood boards, editing and delivering outstanding video content. The Motion Graphic Designer will work with the Creative Director to interpret, conceptualise and execute high quality video content which will inspire, inform and entertain the chosen target audience. The role requires creative capacity and technical skills with an eye for Cinematography combined with commercial acumen. • Video editing • Creating storyboards • Compositing animation graphics and typography • Producing, Filming and Editing video content • Working with clients, the Director, talent or solo • Visualise production scripts, briefs, understand client requirements to produce great results • Setup and capture great shots to fulfil the brief - this includes basic cinematic lighting and optimal audio capture • Editing video projects using Adobe Premiere Pro, After effects • Data wrangling - encoding & delivering for web & social • Media management and archiving of completed jobs • Clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the process • Maintain consistent brand representation and unified look and feel for the company image • Manage multiple projects in various stages of production concurrently • Ensure current knowledge and creative edge in operation of equipment in support of all video production, studio or remote.

Requirements
As a video specialist, you are a seasoned Motion Graphic Design wizard, keeping up with design trends and enjoy Cinematography, comfortable on production sets (Cinematography is a bonus) with demonstrable storytelling skills. You are a self-starter and a natural planner always thinking ahead to capture that next great shot or ways to bring a story to life. You have a natural passion for digital and content creation with a clear understanding of commercial objectives. • 2-4 years of experience in the video/television field as a Motion Graphic Designer executing videos of all types including, but not limited to: branded messaging videos, product-based videos, interviews, how-to-demos. • Prior agency or in-house creative services experience with demonstrated customer service acumen and the ability to ensure a consistent visual brand for clients • Experience in camera operation, DSLR & digital video cameras, sound equipment and the overall production process is bonus. • Tech savvy, with considerable knowledge of audio/visual equipment, hardware, software, troubleshooting and techniques used in video production & editing • Proficiency and proven track record in storytelling to create clear and inspiring content designed for multiple channels • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and ability to work independently • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills • Demonstrable commercial acumen, the ability to combine creativity with business goals • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal • Creative with an extraordinary eye for detail and resourcefulness to deliver high-quality content every time. • Well organised with a strong sense of prioritisation and problem-solving skills working within a dynamic environment. • Flexible with good initiative able to deal with ambiguity (asking the right questions, anticipating needs, being resourceful and preparing for a number of outcomes). • Working knowledge of producing specifically for social media platforms • Desirable experience of using, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
