Job Title Environment & Safety Engineer Location Abu Dhabi-UAE (Power & Utilities) Purpose of Job Plans, develops and directs environmental and occupational health programmes in the BeAAT Department. Monitors the receipt and processing of hazardous industrial waste from nineteen ADNOC Group companies ensuring environmental protection policies and regulations are met as per government and hazardous waste disposal specifications, efficiently and cost effectively. Minimum Job Requirements 5 years’ experience in environmental protection and management, preferably in a petrochemical environment. Extensive experience in the planning and operation of waste treatment and disposal plants, including knowledge of environmental and safety legislation and standards. Technical knowledge of refining production operations and processes. Excellent communication skills. Computer literate. Excellent decision making abilities. Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving skills. Attention to detail. Strong analytical ability. Good command of oral and written English. Arabic language is preferable. Holds a valid UAE driving licence.
