The Role

We have an exciting opportunity at an Account Executive level based in our Abu Dhabi office. As an Account Executive you will have a good and solid understanding of public relations, your clients’ business, their products, client personnel, the competitive landscape and industry in general. Your role is a vital one as you are the teams’ administrator, logistical and task manager and you are instrumental in achieving your clients’ goals. You will be keeping track of team actions, organising team materials for client meetings, providing proactive and insightful media analysis and opinion, and strong research skills. You will also be actively developing your writing skills and start to manage your own programme elements.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinating meeting logistics, ensuring strong attention to detail to ensure all needs are met with minimal input from your senior team members
Participating appropriately in client meetings, providing updates on media opportunities and projects
Liaising with external suppliers to secure project budgets and to get quality outputs
Managing the production of designs for media materials
Developing your writing, editing and proofreading skills through media monitoring and analysis
Providing first draft media materials e.g. factsheets, briefing books and backgrounders, with minimal mistakes, typos and grammatical errors
Identifying and working with target media, demonstrating a network of traditional and online media contacts and influencers including conducting top-tier media sell-ins, developing pitch points and writing first drafts of media invitations
Managing the actions trackers for your teams
Preparing agendas and status reports for client meetings
Organising yourself and your team to attend client meetings and calls (ensuring you have a room booked, taking conference call details, printing agendas, materials for discussion etc.)

Key Requirements:

Solid understanding of the industry with at least 1 years’ relevant work experience
Strong work ethic and demonstrated team player
A positive and can-do attitude
Must have a good knowledge of regional media, dealing with clients and how to work to multiple deadlines
Strong writing and media relations experience
Arabic language skills are essential
