The Sales Manager will contribute to developing, executing and monitoring the commercial strategy and business development plans for Hertz, UAE. This role will drive new business and growth to increase market share, profitability and customer loyalty.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include the following:
• Support the Sales & Marketing Director in developing and implementing sales strategies so that profitability, growth and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
• Assist the Sales and marketing Director to identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and partnership channels with different vehicle dealerships and manufacturers
• Manage, monitor and motivate a team of Business Development Executives to maximize lease and car rental opportunities to bring profitable business for Hertz
• Help with the design and delivery of the business development training modules for the sales team and other internal staff
• Design and implement prospecting strategies through developing own prospect base by networking, cold calling or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
• Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems as required by the Sales and Marketing Director on periodic basis
• Build strong and effective account management relationships with all customers by implementing best account management practices.
• Develop relationship with existing client base and ensure the full Hertz product spectrum is introduced to all customers (Penetration of services)

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be able to provide demonstrable experience of the following:
• Evidence of proven prospect database development and sales achievements
• Previous exposure to and personal credibility with high profile or blue chip organisations
• Ability to nurture & develop effective multi-level business relationships
• Market awareness and understanding of the challenges of customers and competitors• Previous experience in recruiting, monitoring, managing and motivating a high performing sales team

The ideal candidate for this role will also have the following skills and qualifications:
• Strong English communication skills; reading, writing and speaking
• Preferably educated to degree or equivalent level
• Arabic communication skills an added advantage
• Sales and Business Development background• Good applied knowledge of MS Office
