We are now recruiting an Industrial Manager. You will be directly reporting to the General Manager
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the implementation of the Geocycle industrial strategy, including Project Management of new & upgraded installations for waste treatment and providing technical support to the Business Development Team. He /She will manage the operation of pre-treatment platforms and also be the technical Interface between the Geocycle/CIP experts team in Corporate HO, Cement operation co-processing teams be they internal or external partners .
Other responsibilities include, sourcing of equipment required for operation, preparing capex files for corporate investment committee presentation, providing technical support for planning and assessment, and monitoring market opportunities for waste materials using the Geocycle knowledge of pretreatment and co-process to secure waste streams for AF/AFM.

Key Role & Responsibilities
1. Health and Safety and Compliance:
• As being the key responsible person for the industrial sites, in addition to being a part of Geocycle Management Team, the job holder will be responsible for the Health and Safety performance for the entire Operations Organization.
• Demonstrate strong safety leadership and challenge non-compliance. Plan and coordinate resources to identify and control risk and hazards and ensure good housekeeping and environmental consideration is maintained.
• Fully responsible for ensuring that all sites are compliant with company’s H&S standards and with AFR ACert guidelines and execution plans.
• Responsible to develop and demonstrate H&S Compliance CAPEX requirements
2. Operations Management
• Deliver the Alternative Fuels program and provide leadership in exploring new opportunities and markets
• Manage day-to-day work responsibilities and performance for direct reports, overseeing output of the entire production team
• Manage the production planning process to ensure product demand is met and critical maintenance windows are scheduled
3. Industrial Performance and Projects Management:
• Drive industrial performance and challenge 2 Pre-processing Sites (Sorting Stations, Pre-processing Platforms, Shredding facilities) objectives in terms of capacity utilization, overall equipment efficiency, production rate/cost, etc.
• Develop and manage technical feasibility reviews of potential pre-processing stations prior to bidding, and lead pre-planning, pre-tender and pre-start meetings to ensure all necessary operational issues are addressed prior to commencement on site.
• Ensure a proper performance reporting and review frequently performance of all sites.
• Lead a culture of continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and generating ideas to improve site, process and people performance. Lead the implementation of improvement ideas and create a learning environment within the production department and cross functional teams.
• Lead in the implementation/commissioning of Capex projects
4. Coordinate with Geocycle Corporate and CIP expert teams in design, set up and implementation of waste treatment programs, processes, equipment and facilities. Source suitable pre treatment equipment of waste in consultation with Geocycle Corporate and CIP.
5. Support the sales and business team technically on advise to clients of utilization methods, provide expert support and recommend environmentally responsible waste management techniques and strategies.
6. Ensure the companies treatment plant assets are optimized technically & economically
7. Responsible for Project Management of new installations & upgrading installations for waste pre-treatment including municipality waste, industrial waste and biomass.
