Our client, a service company delivering digital transformation projects based on sophisticated CMS and marketing automation solutions, currently seeks for its growing team in the Middle-East an experienced Technical Consultant capable of delivering technology solutions for government and commercial clients. Candidates should have a good mix of team leadership, consultant skills, technical sales, Java development, database knowledge, and hands-on enterprise-grade digital marketing products or suites implementation skills.


Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and support key integrations with third-party and client’s proprietary systems to create bespoke solutions for CMS and/or marketing automation projects
• Provide onsite technical support on large, complex CMS projects
• Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues
• Coordinate with technical team on tickets resolution and ensure incidents are resolved as per defined SLA
• Support and coordinate technology teams to design, build and maintain web applications using Magnolia CMS platform, including, but not limited to, designing and developing site architecture, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), implementation strategy, and unit testing.
• Perform and support on site product installations, setup and customizations
• Prepare and update relevant solution’s documentation
• Define, document, and communicate progress to client stakeholders and project teams
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure project delivery on time, budget, and quality standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-have credentials:
• Experience in large-scale digital projects
• Java programming experience & SQL programming experience with strong relational database knowledge; including the ability to write, analyze, and debug queries
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as ExtJS and jQuery
• Design and development experience with enterprise-grade, java-based leading CMS solution (e.g. Adobe CQ5, IBM Experience Manager, Sitcore, SDL, Liferay, Magnolia CMS preferred). Experience to include: solutions architecture, page templates, components, bundles and JCR queries.
• Working knowledge of a PM methodology (PMI, SCRUM)
• Excellent English (Arabic a plus)
