Department Definition
The Expo School Programme division engages with school students and educators across the UAE to ensure that they are part of the journey in preparing for Expo 2020. As such, the division has launched various outreach programmes such as Expo 2020 school roadshows, site field trips, educator workshops, etc. The division is also responsible for working with relevant departments to ensure seamless, safe, and meaningful school visits to the Expo during 2020.

Opportunity Responsibilities
The role of the Assistant Manager Marketing & Communication SCH plays a key role in delivering an exceptional Expo for school students by attracting, retaining and engaging the schools and students of the UAE. They will be responsible for designing and delivering effective communication plans to support the overall strategy and keeping our teachers, school leaders and students informed and inspired, sharing operational and engaging news about both the Expo and their journey to the event.

Main responsibilities for this role include:
Manage the social media platforms from content creation to implementation, management and reporting;
Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns to deliver brand affinity and increase schools’ attraction and engagement through social and affiliate channels;
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and time management;

Serve as primary liaison between social media agency;
Partner with the different entities and stakeholders to ensure correct messaging and timely project delivery;
Responsible for providing timely reporting and analytical understanding of campaign results and regular social media reports;
Support in developing marcoms strategy and implementation;
Assist with event time marketing strategy and comms framework for schools;
Implement and optimize plans and campaigns;
Skills
5 + years of experience with digital marketing channels including social media and online marketing and proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion as well as:

A Bachelor’s Degree holder in a related field;
Deep understanding of the UAE social media scene and trends;
Multi-tasker who is well organized, with impeccable written and oral presentation skills;
Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting and website analytics;
Creative thinker who can be both innovative while execution oriented;
Able to work in an ambiguous, ''internet-speed'' environment;
Strong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills;
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence management;
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously;
Excellent team player and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines;
